Feeling stressed and looking to unwind? Because we sure are! Join Chicago Film Archives and The Nightingale for a unique evening of guided meditation through film. Using choice 16mm reels from the archive, the writing of Mairead Case & Ed Crouse, and music composed by Joshua Dumas, STRESS/DE-STRESS presents a multi-projector performance designed to suck you out of your problems and into the screen. A crack team of the city’s best projectionists, including Chloe Connelly of The Film Studies Center and Doug McLaren from The Music Box will people the projectors. The evening will begin with STRESS, DISTRESS, a 16mm. 1982 educational film by Dr. Ronald J. Pion.
