Bob Coleman

In 1998 Bob Coleman founded Digital Artists Agency, Inc. in Los Angeles to represent an international and award-winning portfolio of artists for work in feature, commercial and related fields. He leverages his experience in top-level management positions at respected industry companies, with his high regard for artists, to further the development of the visual effects craft.

With a roster of VFX talent that includes Academy Award, VES Award and Emmy Award winning artisans. For 24 years DAA continues to be the preeminent below-the- line agency, exclusively representing VFX artists for Feature Films, Entertainment Television, and Television Commercials.

His film production career began with 14 years as a precision motion picture camera technician and General Manager of Victor Duncan Inc. Chicago, the preeminent motion picture rental company in the Midwest.

Bob Coleman’s visual effects and post production career spans over 40 years holding senior level executive or leadership positions with The Editel Group, Lucas Arts (Skywalker Sound & Editdroid), Sony Broadcast Div, and Virgin Digital Studios (525 Studios & Virgin Television de Mexico).

He currently serves as a board member and former executive board member for the Visual Effects Society (15 years), former Chair of the VES Awards Committee (9 years), former Co-Chair of the Business, Labor & Law Committee (2 years).
