Description
The first film, Pathe Topics of the Day, is a collection of (mostly jokey) quotes from various periodicals around the world, as selected by The Literary Digest. Followed by brief orange-tinted title card for Fleisher Brothers' film Out of the Inkwell - Modeling, which is not actually included on the reel. The reel ends with Rube Goldberg's second film, Leap Year (1916; "the story of a 47 year-old maiden who would have been more popular if all men were near-sighted"). Much of the cartoon is also tinted orange, with some untinted sections.
