Abstract
Episode of the NBC television series, “The Catholic Hour.” This episode is the first of a series of programs on Catholic Child Guidance. Sister Alice Frances (Sisters of St. Joseph, Brooklyn, NY) discusses how to guide and handle children. She suggests the "middle road" between authoritarian and indulgent parenting. Talking head of the nun is interspersed with home movies and stills of children. The episode ends with a roundtable discussion with Sister Frances, NBC news commentator Mr. Frank Blair and his wife Lillian.
