Abstract
Unedited scenes from Mary and Joe Chicago Style, a retelling of the Nativity as re-imagined by Chicago's Central Cinematographers amateur film club.
Description
The reel begins with shots of the Three Wise Men as they are lead into the Police Magistrate (Chuck Mikula)'s office. A police officer places two bejeweled objects on the magistrate's desk. The next scene features the caped Magi walking up and down some stairs. Each scene repeat several times, with clapboard slates beginning each take. The slates indicate that the footage on this reel was for scenes 11 through 14 of the film, and was shot in early 1971.
The rest of the reel contains exterior footage of the Magi in a wooded area with a shepherd and his sheep as it snows heavily.
