Abstract
Burlesque dancer Jada performs at a New Orleans Night Club, likely at the Sho-Bar on Bourbon Street.
Description
Jada performs a burlesque routine on a stage lined with mirrors along the back wall while the band plays "St. James Infirmary Blues." She begins her act in a sequined dress and fur coat, then in tassels and a thong, and culminates in a reclined position on top of a tiger-skin rug.

Jada (Janet Adams Mole Bonney Cuffari Smallwood Conforto Washington [1936-1980]) later became the subject of many John F. Kennedy assassination conspiracy theories, as she was a dancer at Jack Ruby's Carousel Club in Dallas at the time Ruby killed Lee Harvey Oswald in 1963. She also starred in the film Naughty Dallas (1964).
