This film captures the installation of the Gossamer Albatross exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry.
Description
The film begins with several workers carefully unloading a truck and carrying parts of the Gossamer Albatross (the first human-powered airplane invented by Dr. Paul MacCready) through the entrance of the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, IL. The remainder of the film documents the aircraft’s carefully assembly within the museum’s rotunda.
