Description
This film shows footage of the flooded terrain surrounding Ohio homes in April 1957. Various residents observe their surroundings, sweep mud away from a door entrance, and pose for the camera.
On the day of the footage, the Ohio Valley was experiencing its fifth consecutive day of rain. At this point, most streams in central and northern Ohio had crested and were starting to recede.
