Abstract
A reporter interviews former President Harry S. Truman and Miss Universe 1956, Carol Morris, at the 1956 Democratic National Convention, held in the International Amphitheatre on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois August 13–August 17, 1956.

Description
Starts with silent footage of former President Harry S. Truman and his wife, Bess Truman, sitting amongst a crowd smiling, waving, shaking hands and greeting people. The sound starts and a reporter briefly interviews President Truman about how the convention is going, his support of W. Averell Harriman, and whether he will back Adelai Stephenson if he receives the nomination.

Next, the same reporter interviews Carol Morris, Miss Universe 1956, on the floor of the convention. He asks her about her political opinions and affiliations but she evades the questions and appears uncomfortable with the interview.

During both segments the reporter makes comments to someone offscreen named George, but it is unclear if George is operating the camera or has some other role in the production of these interviews.
