Abstract
A forest fire in Los Angeles County, likely the Woodwardia Fire in La Cañada, which began one day prior to this film’s shooting.
Description
Opening footage surveys distant smoke billowing from nearby mountains while a lone airplane circles overhead. The scene shifts to the side of the road as two fire trucks run their hoses up a steep incline, possibly along the Angeles Crest Highway where fire command headquarters were set up during the Woodwardia Fire. The subsequent footage cuts between shots of burning forest and aerial responses by the Los Angeles County Fire Department and the National Forest Service. Concluding footage surveys the aftermath damage inflicted upon a local residence.
