Abstract
Black and white outtakes (sound and silent) of President Eisenhower’s 1960 tour of Okinawa, Taiwan (then known as Formosa), and South Korea. The footage in Okinawa shows local protests demanding that the island be returned to Japan. In Taiwan, the President is seen with Chiang Kai-Shek. In South Korea, Eisenhower makes a speech praising the South Koreans for their help during the Korean War and says the USA will continue to support them.
