Abstract
Silent black and white outtakes featuring every aspect of the Indianapolis 500-Mile Race from the pre-race entertainment, the drivers getting ready, and the winner receiving the trophy and drinking milk (an Indy 500 tradition). This particular race in 1960 is regarded as the greatest two-man duel in the history of the Indy 500. Jim Rathmann beat Rodge Ward by a margin of 12.75 seconds, which was the second-closest finish in the Indy’s history at the time.
