Description
This film begins with footage of a group of Soviet farmers as they gaze from a ledge upon Chicago’s Union Stockyards and then proceed to tour the yards and observe the livestock. After the tour, the farmers board a charter bus and head downtown where they are welcomed by the mayor’s office, and delegation leader Vladimir Matskevich shakes hands with Mayor Richard J. Daley. The film concludes with footage of the farmers as they exit City Hall.
