Abstract
Silent newsreel footage of Vice President Alben Barkley's funeral in Paducah, KY.
Description
Begins with footage of Alben W. Barkley's mailbox and home in Kentucky. Footage of downtown Paducah from a moving vehicle. A train pulls into the station and Barkley's casket is carried into a hearse. Crowds line the streets as military personel accompany the funeral procession. Shots of mourners visiting Barkley's open casket.

Barkley served as Vice President from 1949 to 1953 under Harry S. Truman. He was buried in Mount Kenton Cemetery near Paducah.
