Description
In a public ceremony at Chicago's City Hall, Mayor Kelly signs a proclamation announcing that the City of Chicago and Chicago's New Century Committee will support the motion picture industry's launch of "the greatest motion picture year." After the signing, Miss Movie Quiz (who had held the exhibition-sized proclamation during the signing) offers Mayor Kelly a Movie Quiz Booklet.
In the next scene, Mayor Kelly is shown at his desk where he describes that issuing this proclamation is part of the launch of a campaign that intends to bring business to the local movie industry during the upcoming year. Mayor Kelly declares that the effects of this stimulation will not be limited to the local movie industry but will also help all businesses nation-wide.
