Description
Black and white footage features crowds at West Adams Street and 190 South La Salle celebrating, tying streamers to lampposts and traffic lights, and people playing with the copious amounts of confetti strewn everywhere. The offices of Delta Airlines can be seen in the background.
Eventually, the crowd thins out, leaving the streets blanketed with confetti. The film then switches to color, depicting an outdoor ballet performance that was shot some time in the 1960s, at the Grant Park Bandshell (now commonly referred to as the Petrillo Music Shell).
