Abstract
This home movie begins with scenes of children shoveling snow off of a Chicago sidewalk. This is followed by wedding scenes shot in June of 1955. Family and friends in formal wear pose for the camera. Family is then seen in more casual wear posing in a residential yard and children playing on a swing-set. This is followed by footage from a family vacation to Springfield, Illinois and a small lake resort with log cabins ("Wis-Illa-Mo"). These vacation scenes include footage of children posing in front of a statue of Abraham Lincoln, children playing miniature golf and family swimming at the lake resort. The film ends with a trip to the zoo and the children posing in front of their Chicago home.
