Abstract
The Koza family partakes in leisurely activity and a Christmas holiday at home in the mid-1940s.
Description
This film is comprised of several unrelated scenes which span a period of at least two years: Frank Sr., Thomas and Albina leisurely enjoy a sunny day in the yard, and Albina goes for a walk down the alley; Thomas hand-feeds nuts to a squirrel and briefly holds a guinea pig; long shots of the neighborhood are taken from the upstairs of the Koza house; Roland and an unidentified friend help Albina set up laundry poles in the backyard; Roland engages in acrobatics; Frank Sr. and Thomas escort Albina out of the car up the front stairs, and she walks gingerly as if she may have recently been hospitalized. When she enters the home, she’s greeted with a “Welcome Home” sign and playfully offered a Schlitz beer by Frank Sr.; concluding footage shows Frank Sr., Albina, Roland, Thomas and four others together at the dinner table where a Christmas-themed cake sits, and Albina decorates the Christmas tree in the living room with the assistance of Thomas.
