This film shows Adlai Stevenson’s speech given at a rally on October 26, 1956, at the Fort Theater in Rock Island, Illinois. The footage includes exterior shots of the Fort Theater and rally attendees, as well as excerpts of Stevenson’s speech that criticizes the Illinois Republican administration, and particularly, Republican National Chairman, Leonard W. Hall, and former State Auditor of Illinois, Orville E. Hodge for their participation in the embezzlement of Illinois state funds.
