Custodial History
Collection acquired from Sunrise Media, a television production company in New York City. Sunrise acquired these films in the late 1980's from a company called The Corporation for Entertainment and Learning (CEL). Sunrise had heard of the political documentaries that CFA holds and thought their films would complement CFA's holdings.

Access Restrictions
This collection is open to on-site access. Appointments must be made with Chicago Film Archives. Due to the fragile nature of the films, only video copies will be provided for on-site viewing.
Use Restrictions
CFA does not own rights to these films. Rights owners may be traced down through Scott Foresman, A Reaction Film Company and Pictura Film Distribution Company, though these companies are no longer in existence. Additional Information discovered on 3/28/18 Sunrise Media owns the rights to the films and gives CFA the rights to exhibit for educational purposes and for free.
