Mark Pallman

Mark Pallman is a filmmaker and creative producer whose career has spanned the worlds of music, film, design, and hospitality.
After studying History and Telecommunications at Indiana University Bloomington, Mark spent much of his twenties touring the country as a musician before relocating to Chicago in 2009.
He began his film career at Optimus Production and Post, where he spent more than a decade as a commercial director and editor, creating work for brands including U.S. Bank, Blue Cross Blue Shield, McDonald’s, and the Illinois Office of Tourism.
Alongside his commercial work, Mark has produced independent documentaries, concert films, and digital series that have taken him around the world. His projects have included films on music festivals in London, visual artists in Istanbul, educational outreach programs in Croatia, and a documentary series about winemakers in Lebanon, Georgia, and South Africa.
Most recently, Mark, alongside his wife, Katie, co-founded Consignment Lounge, a Chicago neighborhood cocktail bar and retail shop built around hospitality, design, vintage culture, and community.
