A day after our Chicago Cultural Center Home Movie Day event, CFA will help sponsor “Home Movie Day Northwest” in collaboration with the Northwest Chicago Film Society and the Northwest Chicago Historical Society. Members of the public are once again invited to bring in home movies or other celluloid artifacts on any film format – 8mm, Super 8 or 16mm. The Northwest Chicago Film Society will inspect them and screen them on-site in the Portage Theater lobby. CFA will be available for consultation about perserving and transferring your films. And even if you don’t have a film to share, come out for the show! Come any time between 1 PM and 6 PM. Snacks provided by the Northwest Chicago Film Society!
