Abstract
This episode short of “Aesop’s Sound Fables” was featured on the original PBS Matinee at the Bijou series. A cat catches and eats a bird, which proves a gastronomical mistake when cat begins singing like a bird. He joins his fellow alley-cats in a bit of fence-serenading skat-singing which goes not meet the approval of the animal-occupants in a wavering high-rise. The woodland birds band together and rescue the canary.
