Abstract
The Bernie Fry collection consists of a short claymation film shot on 16mm film as part of his senior Bachelor of Fine Arts thesis in 1980. It illustrates his views on how political and religious differences separate peoples into tribes who build walls to divide themselves from each other.
Creator
Fry, Bernie (created by)
Bernie Fry earned his BFA in Ceramics at Indiana University, Bloomington and then changed career paths to become a software developer after attending a local Technical School. After several stints with different companies, Bernie ended his career with the Indiana University Libraries, the place that had originally brought his father to IU. Sometimes life brings you around full circle, back to your roots.
Custodial History
The collection was previously stored at Bernie Fry's home in Elletsville, Indiana, before being transferred to CFA in October 2018.
