Abstract
Outtakes from a news broadcast capturing the fallout from a major snowstorm in 1961, which seems to have hit Chicago, IL, as well as Indiana quite hard.
The film begins with footage of a few abandoned cars stuck in the snow. A gentleman with a white car has managed to find help from state troopers. Other cars are being shown towed away, while snow removal vehicles try to clear away the thoroughfares of ice and snow from the highways and other major streets. The following sequence shows passengers leaving a Silverliner bus meant for Louisville – it seems to have been unable to continue its journey given the state of the roads.
The final shots reveal a number of buses and cars stuck near routes East 30 and South 41.
