Abstract
I.A.T.S.E. stands for International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees. In 1948 they became the dominant union in the entertainment industry. This documentary tells the history of the organization from the start (1893) until present day (1948). It features stills depicting historic events in the organization's history and segments from the feature films The Jazz Singer (1927) and The Great Ziegfeld (1936).
