This lot arrived at CFA in late 2011 from Cathy Whicker. The lot contains amateur films made by J. Gerald Hooper, a friend of Ms. Whicker's grandfather. Both Ms. Whicker's grandfather and J. Gerald Hooper were in the same amateur film club here in Chicago. The lot consists of 16mm. film (including some production negatives and internegs) and 1/4" audio.

This collection is open to on-site access. Appointments must be made with Chicago Film Archives. Due to the fragile nature of the films, only video copies will be provided for on-site viewing.
